As an associate professor at the Danish Center for Mindfulness, I work with Mindfulness-Based Interventions (MBI) in healthcare settings. I am responsible for the Centre’s research collaboration with the Competence Center for Maternity care, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Copenhagen University Hospital, Hvidovre. I am particularly interested in MBI´s for psychosocially vulnerable groups and in making MBI´s accessible via the healthcare system. I have experience with research - and project management.
As an Associate Professor at Danish Center for Mindfulness, I conduct research on mental health. I study how mental health can be measured and explore the potential of mindfulness- and compassion-based interventions. I investigate the feasibility, effectiveness, mechanisms, and limitations of these interventions across various contexts.
I have a background as a registered nurse, hold a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), and a PhD. I have been an Associate Professor since 2017.
